Karpal Singh To Persuade Lim To Contest Again

PENANG, MALAYSIA: DAP national chairman Karpal Singh pointed out that he will persuade Lim Kit Siang, who hinted that this would be his last elections contest, to go into the battle again.

He is very surprised to hear that Lim is going to retire, because Lim is still very strong and young.

“If he is healthy and able to serve the people, why not he continue to serve? Prime Minister and Samy Vellu older than him and they are still continue to contest.”

He said that, he would like to continue to serve the people if his health condition allows him to do so.

The reason Karpal Singh is persuading Lim is Lim is a senior party leader. Furthermore, he is also a talented politician and should stay in the political arena. (Sin Chew Daily)
