KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting has decided not to be in the new cabinet position, to bear the greatest responsibility for the party loss in the 12th general elections. It is understood he will stick to this decision. Ong decided to be a full-time party president and vowed to carry out a comprehensive reform of the party, to have an in-depth review on all the party's weaknesses as well as to recruit quality candidates to restore the party's strength. Furthermore, in order to fill up the four MCA ministers vacancies, MCA secretary-general Dato’ Ong Ka Chuan , Vice-president Datuk Ong Tee Keat, Wanita MCA chief Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen and MCA Youth chief Datuk Liow Tiong Lai are all under consideration.
