PKR members want to rejoin MIC

KLANG: Several PKR members here, disillusioned by the politics of opposition parties, want to rejoin their old party, the MIC.

“We are fed up with PKR which promised to uplift the Indian community but for the past 10 years nothing has materialised.

"We found that the MIC (Malaysian Indian Congress) has done much more,” Klang PKR committee member K. Arumugam told reporters with some 30 members present at a coffee shop at Taman Greenwood.

He said about 400 PKR members would soon submit forms to rejoin Kota Raja MIC.

“Most of us are former MIC members and we want to rejoin the party,” he said after cutting up his PKR membership card.
