Buddhist temples get land
SHAH ALAM: Three Buddhist temples in Selangor have received approval and land for relocation by the state government.Selangor MCA deputy chairman Datuk Tang See Hang said the temples are in Petaling Jaya and Klang.Tang said the Petaling district office had previously offered the Federation of Kwong Siew Associations of Malaysia and the Thrangu Dharma Society Petaling Jaya 929 square metre plots each last year in Bandar Seri Damansara but the sites were too small.Tang said the temples would each get 1,393 sq m plots each in Bandar Seri Damansara.He said the 50-year-old Ho Who San Koon temple near Kampung Kuantan in Klang had also been given a 280 sq m plot across the road from its present site.--NST
